At the present time, SuperShuttle is a leading shared-ride airport transportation service in the United States. The company provides door-to-door service for over 8 million passengers per year. Today, SuperShuttle offers its service to 28 major airports in 23 cities and operates more than 1,200 blue and yellow vans on the road. Super Shuttle began operating in 1983 in Los Angeles, California. SuperShuttle is a wholly owned subsidiary of Veolia Transportation, a world leader in the transportation industry. SuperShuttle's 24-hour call centers process thousands of customer reservations per day by phone. Reservations can also be made online. The company’s reservation system and automated dispatch system group passengers by geographic area or along major routes.
